William Reece Collins

William Reece Collins, age 77, of New Tazewell, TN was born June 1, 1945 and passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. Bill professed his faith in Christ at a young age and was a member of River View Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Evening Star Masonic Lodge #180, in New Tazewell TN. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Betty Jo Collins, father Conley Collins, mother Anna Lee Collins, and brother Von Collins.

He is survived by his son William R. Collins II and wife Jessica of New Tazewell. Daughter Lisa Beason of New Tazewell. Grandchildren Brad Beason of Knoxville, Qurstin Collins-Massengill and husband Austin of New Tazewell, & William R. Collins III and Hannah Moyers of Tazewell. Great granddaughter Harper Beason of Greenville, SC. Sister Connie Seal of Johnson City. Brother David Collins of Johnson City. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday September 16, 2022 from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The Masonic funeral service will be at 7 PM with funeral service to follow in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be Saturday September 17, 2022 at 10 AM in Irish Cemetery.
