Troy Helton, 72 of Tazewell went to be with the Lord Tuesday August 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was saved when he was sixteen years old and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church and later attended Howards Quarter Baptist Church. He retired from Magnavox in Jefferson City where he worked for forty three years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Minnie Helton; brother and sister-in-law Ray Dean and Joyce Helton and brother-in-law Jimmy Spradling.
He is survived by his wife of fifty one years Brenda Helton

Grandchildren Brian (Brooke) O'Dell, Kevin O'Dell and Morgan Brown
Great grandchildren Reagan, Bronson, Riley and Laurel
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Louie and Nellie Spradling

Family will receive friends Friday August 25th from 5 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. Grave side services will be held Saturday August 26th at 11 AM in the Barnard-Winkler Cemetery.
Rev. Brian O'Dell and Rev. Louie Spradling will be officiating. Singers will be the Howards Quarter Choir.
Pallbearers will be Rick O'Dell, Kevin O'Dell, Steven Cox, Tanner Hughes, Evan McCoy and Marty Lamb
