Linda Roe

Linda K. (Widner) Roe age 68 was born June 19, 1947 and passed away November 15, 2015 at the Claiborne County Nursing Home. She was one of eight children born to Carson and Irene (Cupp) Meyers. Linda was saved at an early age. She is a member of MCM Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Irene Meyers; two husbands, James Edward (Ed) Widner and father of her sons and David (Charles) Roe who helped her raise her two sons as his own. She is also preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Russell, Nancy Boggess, Carolyn Meyers; two brothers Clay Meyers and Carson (J.C.) Meyers

She is survived by her sons: Thomas Edward Widner

Grandchildren: Eric Widner, Ashley Widner, Chelsey Widner

Sister-in-law: Judy Meyers all of New Tazewell, TN

Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Tuesday November 17, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Tuesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Sharps Chapel.
