Charles Walter Noah

Mr. Charles Walter Noah age 78 of Ewing, VA was born March 10, 1932 and passed away July 14, 2010 at 8:50 A.M. at Mercy West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church since May 1945. He worked for Virginia-Kentucky Stone and Elmo Greer Asphalt Plant. He was owner of Noah Paving business for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Treasie (Rowland) Noah; sisters, Lillian Brooks, Sylvia Whitaker; brothers, Samuel, Louis , Grant JR and P.L. Noah. He was a quiet and subtle giver to people and churches. He loved his home and family with great affection and humbly gave of himself, his resources and his love. He was a guardian angel to those he loved.

He is survived by his loving wife: Gennell (Crockett) Noah of Ewing, VA Son: Kim ( Karen)Noah of Lebanon, VA Grandchildren: Kristin (Bryan)Hanson; Kellee (Jason) Bostic ; Kevin (Amy)Noah Great Grandchild: Lauren Rachel Hanson

Friday night July 16, 2010 at the Walnut Hill Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 7:30 P.M. Friday night. Private burial Saturday at the Family Cemetery. Minister: Rev.
