Blake Chittum

Blake Chittum, age 32, of New Tazewell, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Blake was born July 24, 1989. He was a member of Chittum Chapel Baptist Church. Blake was a wonderful father, son, brother, and friend to many; he lit up the room wherever he went. He was a loving and caring person and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Blake is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Barbara Chittum and Robert and Ruby "Button" Thomas.

He is survived by his children Blakleigh Chittum and Easton Chittum. Parents Jeff "Scrubb" Chittum and Sarah Thomas. Sister Abby Chittum. Aunts and uncles Melissa and Noble Short, Greg and Luann Thomas, and Robert and Faye Thomas. Mother of his children Lindsey Southern. As well as a host of cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday January 29th from 5 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Sunday January 30th at 2 PM in the Fairview Cemetery. Please be at Coffey Funeral Home by 1:30 to go in procession.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Blake Chittum Memorial, c/o Annette Osborne at First State Bank 1820 Cumberland Ave. Middlesboro, Ky. 40965 for his children. Checks must be made out to Sarah Thomas with Blake Chittum Memorial in the memo line.
