Robert L. Cervenka

Robert Lee Cervenka of Taylor Texas was called by his heavenly father on Monday April 13, 2015. Robert was born to Arnold and Hattie Cervenka of Granger, Texas on October 17, 1940. He attended Granger schools and was a celebrated high school athlete and student. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Business. He married Jeanette Mikulencak, his high school sweetheart, on June 16, 1963. Robert was a devoted husband, loving father, “Worlds Best” Grandfather, dedicated son, brother, uncle and a true friend to many. He taught us family, friends and faith are the most important things in life.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette, his children Greg Cervenka, and wife, Marnie of Austin, Deanna Miller and husband, Carl of Round Rock and Jana Cervenka Holmstrom of Richmond, Texas. Along with his sister, Joyce Domsch of Taylor. His grandchildren, Makenna Bartlett, Madeline Cervenka, Logan Bartlett and Catherine Cervenka, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

For those of us left behind, Robert leaves an everlasting mark of love, joy, and laughter. He will live forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor on Wednesday April 15th from 5:30-7:00pm with rosary to follow. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday April 16th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please make donations to St. Mary’s Catholic School.
