Larry Jerry Maresh, age 60, of Georgetown, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Larry was born August 7, 1961. Larry was the son of Jerry H. and Marie (Pavelka) Maresh, He attended SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic School first grade thru 8th grade and then went to Granger High school where he graduated.
Larry was a member at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger, TX. He loved to play the church organ, he was the senior church choir organist for many years, he had a beautiful voice, and also loved to cook and bake. In the earlier years he was a member of the Knights of Columbus #4457 and was a 4th degree knight and he was also a member of the Granger KC's. His hobbies included playing bingo, playing polka and waltzes on the organ and gardening. After his stroke in 2003 Larry still loved to listen to polka and waltzes and still had his love of cooking in which he still did for himself.
Larry is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Dan Maresh of Temple, TX, Edie Hanel (John) of Denison, TX, Raymond Maresh (Margaret) of Granger, TX, Mary Ann Maresh of Georgetown, and two nephews and one niece, Jennifer Brown and Husband Mike of Denison, TX, Brian Hanel and wife Dawn of Valley View, TX, and Trey Hamons and Wife Kelly of Georgetown, TX.
He is also survived by seven great nieces and three great nephews: Victoria Lowe (Stephen) of Denison, TX, Jessica Letz (Jarod) Denison, TX, Rebecca Brown, Alyssa Brown, Jayda Brown, Jonathan Brown, Anthony Hanel, Kyle Hamons, Karsyn Hamons, Kyndal Hamons and one great great nephew, Samuel David Letz. His great niece Allison and great nephew Baby Brown will be welcoming him into Heaven.
Pallbearers will be Dan Maresh, Raymond Maresh, John Hanel, Trey Hamons, Tim Pavelka, and Kyle Hamons. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Maresh III, Frank Maresh, John Lee Maresh, John Maresh, Adrian Kocurek, Joe Pavelka, Frankie Pustejovsk, Donald Pacha, and Reese Knight.
