Edward Almazan

After graduating from Taylor High School, Edward enlisted in the US Navy. He loved “The Blues” and Motown Hits, he cherished recording music. There was always a cassette recorder nearby. Edward loved music that could be listened to and danced to. Edward loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Taylor Ducks.

Edward is survived by his sister, Maria Rosa Almazan Delgado, brother; Antolin Jr, and wife Emma and Roy Almazan. He is also survived by his sister in law Ruby Almazan, nieces; Sarah Almazan and Rebecca Almazan Felix and spouse Ricardo, nephews Rolando and Sergio Delgado and Richard David, Ruben and Robert Almazan. Edward is also survived by four great nephews, one great niece and numerous cousins in Texas, Arizona, Illinois and Indiana.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents Antolin and Carolina Almazan and his brother Richard Almazan.

A funeral Mass for Edward was held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at St. Mary’s of Assumption Church in Taylor. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was given at 7:00pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas.
