She was one of ten children who all worked hard on the family farm. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1950. A few months later she married Jack Eschberger on October 29, 1950. To this union were born four children, a daughter, Susan and three sons, Randy, Daryl, and Philip. She retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety after 27 years of service. She loved polka music, dancing, sewing her own clothes, growing flowers and working in her vegetable garden.
She is survived by her four children; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; sisters, Albina Kerlin and Martha Minzenmayer; brother-in-law, Bill Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jack; sisters, Bertha Christianson, Elsie Mucha, Lillie Martinets, Angeline Hobbs and Jean Ann Griffin; brothers, Edmond Srnensky and Joe Srnensky; and grandson, Russell Eschberger.
Services will be held at Condra Funeral Home on August 19, 2024 at 11am with a visitation at 10am. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
