William Davison Trotman was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, William will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
William Davison Trotman transitioned home to heaven on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. William was born on August 16, 1972, in Tampa Florida, to the late John Been and Alma Louise Trotman, who precedes him in death along with brothers, Robert Trotman and John A Trotman.
William attended McClain Jr High, graduated from Brandon Sr High, and attend Hillsborough Community College before transferring to Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. William Trotman was a leader in the community and shared his love for helping others understand and maximize their financial power with his involvement in the Black Heritage Festival.
William is survived by his sisters, Deborah Waddell and Helena Trotman Reed; brothers, John Trotman Jr, and Leroy Trotman; aunt, Gloria O Smith is the last surviving member of his mother's sisters and Joseph Cambridge is his last remaining uncle. William has a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that he was very close with. Also, to mourn him is a host of friends, colleagues, and business associates. William will be greatly missed.
Services were held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories. William was laid to rest in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Simply stated, William was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. William leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember William Davison Trotman.
