Walter Roscoe "Bud" Harris, 81, passed away on April 24th, 2021 at his home. Bud was born in Indianapolis, IN and traveled all across the country as an Air Force kid as well as living in and attending high school in London, England. He retired from Reilly Dairy after 47 years where he served on several boards of directors for different dairy co-ops. He was able to indulge his love of traveling by touring the USA via motorcycle as well as numerous cruises and tours of Europe and Australia/New Zealand. Bud was a member of the Masons, Yorkies, Shriners, and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Harris and Doris McElwee; brother, Russell Harris; sister, Sherry Burke; and step-son, Michael Worth. Bud is survived by his wife of 18 years, Brenda Harris; daughters, Regina Harris, Nancy Harris, Lori Thomas; sons, Rory Harris, David Harris; stepdaughter, Racquel Sturgis; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Williams, Jim Williams; sister, Judy Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 3rd from 12:30-1:30 with a funeral service at 1:30 at Hyde Park United Methodist Church followed by interment at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Association, Stand Up to Cancer or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
