Since my first day at the post office you embraced and looked out for me as family. I'll always remember the good memories you gave us all. Now that your an angel in heaven I ask that you continue to look out for me and my family. Salute Victor and may you rest in peace, brother!

To my tio victor you been in my life since grammer school as a security guard couldnt get away with nothing, but when you left school i felt that security blanket leave. you have been a big huge piece in my life you and my dad that bond you had was unbreakable. When my dad passed i will always remember at his funeral you turned to him and said " and to you brother i salute you!! " and to you tio i SALUTE YOU!!!! And thank you for being in my life your words of encouragement your knowledge, love, heart, strive, work ethic, neighborhood watch guy, always looking for the best in people. Tio you are a father to me 2day + 2morrow= FOREVER. Tell dad, tio, titi we love and miss them. But when you do tell them with the finger you speak and point with because that always made me crack up!! Love you tio rest in peace!!!

Irene, Melissa, Victor and Mark:  Our condolences to you and the rest of the family.  Know that we're praying for you. I personally remember Victor as a "strict-sergeant", security guard at Nixon Elementary, yet sweet and had a heart of gold, who watched over all of us.  Few years after, he was my family's neighbor and always lent a helping hand, not only to us but to all who lived on our block.   We are blessed and fortunate to have known him.

  Victor was a blessing I thank GOD for sending my way.He was a great man who touched the lives of everyone he met,always ready and able to help anyone.There are so many memories I`d like to share but i don`t know where to begin.I remember the first time Victor came into Reda`s,for the first of many  a Miller High Life I was honored to have served him.He was a customer who became who became a friend and then became family.
  It was there I met his wonderful wife Irene(she makes the best enchiladas in the world) his children Victor,Mark,Melissa his mother,brothers,sisters and grandchildren( who he would let raid the candy counter).They all made him a very proud and happy man.
  Thank you Victor for all that you shared with my family and me and I hope you don`t mind I`m going to borrow the toast you gave many times at the bar  " enjoy this one because the next round is on you". We will miss you and never forget you.

There are so many things that I can say about my sweet Tio Junior. My most fondest memories of him are growing up on Lowell street in Chicago. I remember when he worked for the post office and I/we use to see him deliver the mail on our block, I use to say to myself "hey there's tio Junior!" like it was the coolest thing to have your uncle as the mailman! Other great memories of him were just his simple acts of kindness, like buying ice cream for all the kids on the block or the many summer days that we would beg him and Titi Irene to please let us get wet in their pool, and he would say yes and on top of it all would make sure we ate!! I will never ever forget those days. I am so grateful that he was able to walk me down the isle and see me get married, I could just go on and on! Tio Junior, you will truly be missed, you were more than just an uncle to me, I will cherish all of those memories and keep them in my heart forever.

My memories goes back when I was 14 years old. Dad had played an important part of my life, and my children. Dad was funny,caring, and loving.  He was an easy person to talk too. I have been bless to have DAD step into my life and built memories with him. I have so much respect for him he was like a dad to me. I couldn't of have picked a better person to have Baptist my son. I could say so much about him. Words cannot express the pain I carry inside. Dad will always have a special place in my heart, and mind. He will never be FORGOTTEN. I LOVE YOU DAD!!! I will greatly miss you. Until we meet again.

Melissa & William Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you and your family are very close in every thought and prayer.

I will always remember tata as a strong and loving man. Someone who had a significant impact on everyone's lives family and friend. Who brought joy and smiles to everyone around him. As a kid I will always remember seeing him come down the street, delivering mail. Never forget when you can hear the sound of the ice cream truck coming and he would walk me down across the street to buy any ice cream I wanted... 15 years had passed before I got a next chance to see him thanks to family. I came to tata & nana's house to surprise them for their 50th anniversary. When he came up to me he was such in shock, he wasn't sure if it was really me. He gave a second look and I say "hello tata" and he goes "oh my god.. Steven" as I saw tears in his eyes he gave me a big hug... I was will always cherish that moment forever. Tata will forever be in my heart as well as everyone's else's heart. Tata well always be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you tata.
