Tom served as a Military Policeman for eight years in the United States Army Reserves, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.
In 1960, he began his long career with TECO, retiring in 1995. In the early 1990's, he was the Chairman of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Advisory Council. He was a member of the North Tampa Kiwanis Club. An avid baseball fan, Tom coached youth baseball for many years. In his retirement, he took up golf, enjoyed reading, walking, and John Wayne movies. He loved spending quality time with his family, especially creating memories with his grandchildren, and later his great grandchildren.
He was full of joy and life. Though he is greatly missed, he is in the peace and presence of his loving Savior.
