Susan was a loving daughter, sister and friend to many. Susan was known as a generous person with a big heart who supported, cared for and brought joy to those around her. She spent time on several philanthropic projects throughout her life. Some of her happiest memories were of time spent in African villages caring for children in need. She enjoyed interior design, art, fashion and music and shared these passions with those close to her.
Susan attended The Academy of the Holy Names High School, The Art Institute of Tampa and the Miami International University of Art & Design.
Susan is survived by her mother Eileen Salem, her father Richard Salem and wife Jule, and her sister Elizabeth (Lizzi) Salem Graham and husband Brendan Graham together with many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Susan is predeceased by her grandparents Dr. Lawrence and Alice Monley, Hardy Teugel, and Albert and Vivian Salem as well as her uncles Albert Salem Jr. and Robert Salem.
Susan had a love for animals, especially her loyal rescue pup and longtime sidekick, Sunny. In lieu of flowers, Susan’s family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club (1601 S MacDill Ave) at 2pm on Saturday, January 7th, 2023.
