Susan Dione was a native Floridian born in Gainesville and resided in Tampa most of her life. She graduated from King High School, "Class of 1972". Dione was employed as an Administrative Business Professional for many years in the Tampa Bay area and was a Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc.
On her many lists of interests were dance, health/fitness and home/garden improvements. She also researched her genealogy and created a family historical file. Dione loved and nurtured all animals which came and went through her neighborhood and they loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and JoAnn De Barry.
She is survived by: her brother, Jimmy De Barry; nephew, Stephen De Barry and other loving family members and very dear friends.
A visitation for Susan will be held 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, Tampa, Florida. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, Florida.
