Shirley was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School and remained friends with many of her fellow graduates throughout her entire life. She was employed by The Hartford Insurance Group for 38years where she mentored and be friended many of her co workers.
She grew up in the Ponce De Leon projects and when you don't have material things, your imagination becomes your friend. Don't even think that you could beat her at playing Jacks. She could draw, she could sew, and later on she could hand build pottery, and work with stained glass but, not for long as she got bored.
Shirley loved just being a wife and mother, but always considering her humble beginnings; she was grateful of her opportunities to travel the world with her husband Rodney. There are very few people loved by everyone, and her passing is a great loss to many.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Rodney Justo. Children; James Freece (Sandy), Kim Justo Blank, Holly Justo Mosser and her sister Ramona Santiago, as well as five grandchildren ( Ethan, Zoe, Drew, Erica and Austin).
A special love goes out to her in laws Brian and Yvonne Justo for their dedication and help.
