Dear Sharon, and family;

 I was deeply saddened to hear of Sam's passing.  I can only say that our world is a bit more dull, and has a bit less class in it!  Sam was such a kind and generous man and from all of us at Gordon Chevrolet we will miss his periodic visits, and generosity and increadible cheerful nature. he was truly a one of a kind gentleman.  God Bless you all!

Sharon, Sam was such an inspiration to everyone at Crestwood. His dedication to our school and children will never be forgotten! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Take comfort in knowing he is in a better place and will be missed by all those whose life he touched.

Dear Sharon,
I am so sorry for your loss. Sam was such a good man, and especially thoughtful and caring to the many children he tutored in reading at Crestwood Elementary School over the years.  I   knew Sam as Crestwood's assistant principal back when he began tutoring in 1996 and later as principal.  During the nearly 18 years he gave to our students, he showed genuine interest and dedication to each of the students he tutored.  Sam received many Crestwood Elementary School recognition awards for his service to our children, as well as the District's top Hillsborough County School Board SERVE Award.  President George H.W. Bush also awarded Sam the â€œThe Thousand Points of Lightâ€ Award for his service to the students at Crestwood. 
 Sam touched many hearts and will be remembered fondly by those children in whose lives he made such a lasting difference.
He will be missed.

Elaine and I are are saddened to hear of Sam's passing, yet rejoice in knowing he is now with his Savior and Lord.  We know The Lord will strengthen and keep you during this season in your life.  Remember that "God is good all the time and all the time God is good".
