Robert Dominick Cusumano, Jr, 65 years old, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was born November 24, 1953 in Oceanside, New York to his loving parents, the late Robert D. Cusumano, Sr. and Lillian Cabana Cusumano. He was predeceased by his nephew David Dougherty Jr. ( D.J.). He is survived by his loving sister Linda Frezza, her husband, and her son Joseph;
Daughter, Laurie Cusumano Rupert, her husband Glenn A. Rupert, his brother Nathan D. Rupert, and her son Jeremy D. Barker; Daughter, Carrie Ann Marrero, her husband Michael Steven Marrero, and his son Terrance A. Torres; Son, Anthony Cusumano; Loving cousin, Pam, and her husband Mitch; His beloved cat, Merlin, and many more family and friends. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, after which he went on to become a master plumber. He retired and spent his time with family and friends. He was a very loving, patient, and generous man whose smile brightened every room he entered. He never met a stranger, and loved and was loved by everyone. He loved music and dancing, never afraid to be the only one on the dance floor. He loved the feeling of freedom when he rode on his motorcycle and had adventures in his little red Miata, affectionately known as “The Tomato.” To know him was to be a very lucky person. He will forever be loved and missed.
