Robert Carpenter “Pappy”, 85, of Tampa, FL passed away Saturday evening, September 12, 2020 with his daughter Lois by his side. He was a Navy veteran and retired automobile mechanic, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
He is survived by his daughter Lois Rothfarb (Steve), son Gary Carpenter, step daughters; Sandy Bair (Jerry), Debbie McClellan (Dennis), sisters; Jean Moore and Ann Barrett, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa.
