Peter Granville Harris

PETER GRANVILLE HARRIS , 55 of Hudson, FL. passed away with his loving wife, Monica and teenage son, Daniel by his side on December 4, 2023. Peter was born in Baltimore, MD, but considered himself a Floridian, as he grew up and spent the majority of his life in the Tampa Bay Area. He attended Gaither High School and went on to graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. His fulfilling career included various types of Sales, Management, but he found his passion as a Realtor and took great pride in helping people find the right real estate fit, while maintaining admirable ethics standards.

He took great pride in his dedicated hard work not only as a Realtor, but also as a husband and father; he absolutely loved spending time with his family of three and made sure they knew they were his priority! Building a solid family life had been his biggest dream and life goal!!! He also enjoyed the great outdoors and relished in finally living on a large piece of property, where he was always finding a project to work on and enjoying it once completed. Peter was always networking, but had also found peace in taking time to enjoy the simple things in life, like gardening, listening to music, or bird watching. Despite a tumultuous youth, he grew into a God-seeking adult and with each passing day, his spiritual life flourished and had become his haven. He will be remembered for his big smile, giving spirit, warm hugs, wit and humor, a loving heart, and zest for life!

Peter is survived by his soulmate of 23 years, Monica Harris and their son Daniel Harris. Following cremation, they will honor his wishes in a private, yet meaningful way. Condolences can be shared on this obituary page by clicking “add a memory” down below.
