Aunt Sharran I was so sorry to hear that Uncle Jerry had passed. I was really glad to see him at Jennifer wedding and the family reunion. I was glad to see all of you. Patrick and Shannon my heart goes out to you both I know you will have alot to handle in the up and comming weeks just know that are prayers are with you all.

I remember Jerry from Odessa school days to Chamberlain High School.  He later became my brother's best friend and I would see him from time to time.  He was always full of the devil and always had something smart to say.  I send my deepest sympathy to his family who he loved so much.  He will always be remembered in our hearts.  Nancy Baldwin

Jerry was such a good man and such a dear friend to Gene and I.  Gene always said that he loved Jerry like a brother and that there were few people in this world that he would trust as he trusted Jerry.  Their friendship was such a blessing in Gene's life.  Jerry had a way of touching other souls with his warm smile, his sense of humor and his willingness to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike.  The world will miss you Jerry.  My condolences to Sharran, Shannon and family and Pat.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  Sherry Morton

Our love and sympathy to Sharran, Shannon, Patrick and all of Jerry's extended family. He joked with and gave us just the right amount of sarcasm to treat us like family, and he felt like family to us! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

It started with the infamous Smicker sisters who were full of personality, fun, wit and humor.  The legacy they left behind is as vibrant and present as when they were all still here.  The Kennedy men have carried that torch and have given us all so many amazing stories and laughter over the years.  Although Jerry is gone, his stories will live on with all of us.  He was so special and I am so thankful for all the time we had.

Sharon and family, We loved seeing you and Jerry on your visits to Iowa. You blended right in with our group with your smiles and laughter. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
