Patrick is survived by his parents Keith Carter (Diane) and Karen Vaughan; siblings David Carter, Elizabeth Goldin (David), John Carter, and Julie Watson (Bret); maternal grandmother, Jean Vaughan; a nephew, many nieces, cousins, and aunts and uncles, who all adored him.
Patrick attended St. John’s Episcopal Parish Day School and Plant High School, where he was a three-year varsity letterman and earned all-state honors on the 2006 state championship football team. He earned his Associate of Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College. Patrick was employed by Federal Express at their airport operations.
From a young age, Patrick excelled in sports and always had a ball in his hand. He loved boating and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loyal and loving son, brother, uncle, and a true friend. He deeply loved and cherished his many friends.
Patrick is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roger A. Vaughan; paternal grandparents, Maxie and Kitty Carter; and sister, Rayma Jenkins.
