Mr. & Mrs. Nelson G. Ferraro will be Celebrating their life together with us in spirit on January 26, 2019 at noon, graveside, Garden of Memories Cemetery. We invite our loving family and friends to join us on this bittersweet day. Lunch will be provided afterwards at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home in the Camellia - Rose Room.
Nelson and Carrie were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (O.L.P.H.) May 17, 1953, where he had attended school and played on their football team. They remained loyal parishioners through-out the years. We all know how much they loved each other in their 66 years together. How Blessed they were and continue to be now in the presence of our Good and Merciful Lord!
Mother passed over on November 12, 2018 unexpectedly. Services were held in her memory in the Garden of Memories Chapel on November 18th! Father had been with a broken heart since that day and in his failing health it seems his heart could beat no more without his true love beside him. He awoke for the last time on earth on what would have been mom's 85th birthday and by that evening he quietly and peacefully slipped into a deep sleep; passing over on January 4, 2019! That afternoon he was kneeling before our Lord and Savior; no longer separated from the one who gave His all! Nor all whom he loved and loved him! Oh death where is thy sting!
