I have just learned of Miriam's passing.  To Miriam's family, I am sorry for your loss.  I loved working with Miriam.  I especially appreciated that she was so professional and friendly at the same time!  She seemed to care very much about all of us school psychologists, and about helping us find out the information we needed know and to get whatever support or supplies we needed to get.  Miriam expressed much love for her family, and I appreciated her stories from across the countries and the years. 

 Miriam was a secretary for Psychological Services with Hillsborough County Public Schools for many years.   Her smile, warmth, and sense of humor were appreciated by all.    May wonderful memories of Miriam comfort the Taylor family at this time.

Mi mas sentido pesame a toda la familia y muy en especial a Pedro.  Me hubiese gustado estar presente pero me fue impossible.  Espero que Dios les de la serenidad  y comformidad que requieren estos momentis tan dificiles. Abrazos. 

My sincere sympathy and prayers on the passing of Miriam.  She was such a wonderful person.  She was very helpful working in the school district.  She helped us develop the district wide Parent Education Center and the Full Service Schools program.  She will be missed.

Miriam, querida e inolvidable prima, la buena fortuna del destino te llevó a Venezuela y nos permitió conocerte y compartir contigo tantos años desde ese momento, fue una época plena de gratos y permanentes encuentros de los cuales siempre prevaleció tu semblanza comedida y alegre, tu serena belleza y tu noble mirada que hacía feliz a todo el que estuviera a tu lado. Siempre fuiste la prima especial en torno a quien todos nosotros, la familia Riquelme Senra, mi esposa y mis hijas, fuimos compartiendo grandes espacios en nuestros corazones y pensamientos y así perdurarán más allá de todas las circunstancias del tiempo en lo más profundo e indeleble de nuestra memoria.

There are no goodbyes for you and me. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart. You made me laugh with the silly things you would say and do like putting a picture of Bengi over Mike’s face in a family photo saying “this is my son now”. We always talked about getting our nails done, what color looks good on us and how we would always be FOREVER 21! You will be deeply missed my dear, especially your cooking. Where can I get the BEST Boliche in town now?! God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and he whispered “come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. During your last moments with us, I held your hands, rubbed your feet, massaged your hair and played your favorite Marc Anthony tunes as you danced your way to heaven. Each time we see your picture you seem to smile and say, don’t cry, I’m in God’s hands now, until we meet again someday. Just know that Mike will be ok, you will always be in his heart and never forgotten. So rest in paradise mama bear, and thanks for all you’ve done. We pray that God has given you the crown you’ve truly won. Te quiero mucho Mami! Que descanse en paz. 

We miss you terribly. I hope you know how loved you were.

 Miriam had a very giving kind heart.  She loved family, friends & sharing. Lovely family times celebrating LOVE.

I took my son Anton to Mother Goose nursery for the first time age 3 1990.  Of course he was scared and crying.  A tiny boy with shiny black hair and big dark eyes came over and took A’s hand to walk him to a seat. He was Michael the boy you raised to be kind and compassionate.  The boys remained connected like brothers for years.  
   Miriam you helped me so much by caring for Anton.  He was in your home so often that he learned Spanish from you.  I am forever grateful to you and Pedro and Michael. And I’m sorry that Anton took a different path away from all of us.  I hope your spirit will find him again.  My heart is breaking  …

Mom, my heart has broken since God has taken you away from us. Words cannot express how I truly feel. You blessed me with life on this earth and for that I am truly grateful. I know I was a blessing for you as well being the only child you birthed and I always wanted to make you proud. You raised and showed me how to be a loving, compassionate, respectful, caring, loyal, and an overall good person because these were the qualities you embodied and I will never forget it. We have had so many great memories together that I will cherish FOREVER and I will miss you alot. You were an amazing person and loved by so many. You will be incredibly missed but your love lives on. I am so grateful that YOU were my mother because you were always there for me no matter what. I will be sad to not be able to give you physical hugs and kisses or cherish moments hearing your laugh and watching you smile but I am also relieved that you no longer will suffer in pain. You will always be in my heart and this is God's Plan. I know you will be watching over us and protecting us. This is not goodbye but just 'see you later'. I love you forever Mom.

Since I met you at the London Victory Club 38 years ago you have been my love, my partner and the piece that was missing in my life.  I will miss our travels which were our plans after retirement. 
 You were the bravest person I've ever known.  You had so many procedures and hospital stays and not once did you ever complain.  I will miss your beautiful smile and your beautiful eyes and most importantly, I will miss you.
