Our dear Miguel Ferrer was born on December 3, 1935 in his beautiful country he loved so much, Camaguey, Cuba. He left his homeland is 1963 to pursue and have the American dream. He moved his family to Chicago, IL were they lived for twelve years. They then relocated to Tampa, FL because it reminded him of his homeland Cuba.
Miguel loved his family and worked hard to give his family a good life. He loved his wife Elba the minute he first saw her. His children Maggie, Annie, and Michael were his pride and joy. His grandchildren, Jackie, Eli, Steven, Eric, and Michael Jr were also a source of pride for him. He showed us how to love each other and always told us to be together. He was the best husband, Papi, and Abuelo.
Miguel enjoyed working for Vigo Import for over 25 years, the owners and his coworkers were a second family to him. He enjoyed listening and dancing to Latin music.
Miguel is survived by Elba, his beloved wife of 62 years, his children; Michael Ferrer, Annie Bichachi, Maggie Allen (Raymond), grandchildren Michael Ferrer, Jr., Elias Bichachi, Eric Bichachi, Jacqueline Ruz, Steven Ray Ruz, siblings; Francisco Ferrer and Tere Ferrer, extended family and friends.
