Michael N Whery

Whery, Michael Norman, 57, went to live with the Lord on January 11th, 2015. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He had a passion for his family, bowling, golf, NASCAR, baseball and football. He never turned down a chance to go to the Hard Rock or Derby Lane. A GENTLE man, blessed with an abundance of friends and family. He was a true athlete all his life. He proudly worked at The Tampa Tribune and Penske Logistics for 27 years.

He was preceded in death by Tammy Whery. He is survived by his wife Lynda, mother Margaret, his sons Bradley & Nicholas , sister Bonnie, nieces Kimberly (Warren), Marisa, Kelsey (Christopher) as well as his nephews Christopher, Zachary and A.J., brothers in Law, Mathew (Stacey), Jon and Randy (Laura) . He also leaves his In Laws, Sherwin and Sandy Ernst, Roger and Ruby Sheets.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 17, 2015 from 9am -10:30am at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave Tampa. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
