O’Donnell, Michael J., LCDR Retired CG, 65, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away on May 7, 2014. Survived by his loving wife, Christine (Paluszek) O’Donnell, his daughter, Kristin (O’Donnell) Sloane, grandson, Scott Sloane and loving sister Stephanie (O’Donnell) Taylor. Michael was a retired Coast Guard Officer and a retired VA hospital administrator. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL 33618, on May 9, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on May 10, 2014 at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 706 W. 113 St., Tampa, FL. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WUSF Public Broadcasting WSMR (www.WSMR.org) or St. Clement’s Episcopal Church in Michael’s name.
