Maya Kirpalani

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was adored by all. She had a passion for helping others, which included looking after children, while raising her own daughters. She loved travelling and was known to be jet setting around the world whenever possible. She had a fantastic sense of dress and was beautiful inside and out. She enjoyed cooking exotic dishes and sharing them with everyone. She had many friends and was a well- loved member of the community because of her kind giving nature and compassionate soul.

She is survived by her husband, Krish Kirpalani, her daughters Sabrina Pooran and Tanya Kirpalani, her sons in law, Mark Pooran and David Hicks, and her three grandchildren Amelia Pooran, Gabriella Pooran and Anthony Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Maya’s name to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Stjude.us.

A funeral service to honor Maya will take place at 10am on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
