Mary Beatrice Spano, 90, went to be with Jesus on Friday, November 11, 2016. She was at home surrounded by her family. Mary retired from Publix at age 87. She was an inspiration to all and had a wonderful sense of humor and devotion to her family. A Memorial Service in her loving memory will be held at Lake Magdalene Methodist Church, 2902 W Fletcher Avenue in Tampa with viewing at 9:00 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16. 2016. Entombment will follow at the L’Unione Italiana Cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her brother, Harry and her son, Jerry. She is survived by two sons, Carlo Spano and Robert Spano; a daughter, Karen Tipton, a daughter in love, Diane Spano; a sister, Vivian Bradley and a sister-in-law, Yvette Perry, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
