Manuel Pacheco SSGT. USAF

Manuel is son to Ricardo and Rosa Pacheco and is survived by his Brothers Albert and Raymond Pacheco.

He was born in New York City, Manhattan and is a graduate of Alfred E. Smith High School C/O 1966.

Manuel attended College for Automotive Engineering before joining the US Air Force in 1967. He served one year duty in Vietnam as a Jet Fighter Mechanic and moved to Tampa in 1969 where he was stationed at MacDill Air Force Base till 1973. He was a member of the 94th Tactical Fighter Squadron at the time. Other tours of duty include, Germany, Spain, South Korea, North Carolina, Alaska and was last stationed

In Texas where he retired from the Air Force in 1987.

He worked for Raytheon Co. Greenville Texas till 1993 and moved back to Tampa. He graduated Tampa Technical Institute in 1998 with an AS in Electronic Technology and worked for Sypris Electronics Co. till 2008. He lived with his Mother Rosa and Brother Albert till 2020.

A visitation will be held 10 am - 11 am, Saturday, July 18, with a funeral service at 11 am, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery with full military honors.
