He was co-owner of Hillsboro Sheet Metal with his brother Leonard(deceased) and nephew Leonard Jr. The business was established in 1944 by his father Leo R. Lorenzo. and has been family operated ever since. Leo positively influenced many military and business associates remembering most and their families by name. His sense of humor was legendary and all will miss his afternoon emails.
He loved the Florida National Guard where he spent 42 years and garnered many awards including the Florida Cross and the Legion of Merit. He was invested into the Field Artillery Hall of Fame in 1989. He was a 32nd degree Master Mason and Egypt Temple Shriner, served on the Hillsborough County Mechanical Board and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo R and Lydia Lorenzo, and brother Leonard W Lorenzo Sr.
He is survived by his wife Rose Ann Lorenzo; sister Lucy Grant(Willie),daughter Glenda James, two grandsons, three great and two great great grandchildren and several cousins, sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews.
