He attended the University of Florida and completed his Pharmacy Degree at Mercer College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA., with an internship at Tampa General Hospital. He was the owner of Larry’s Drugs in Forest Hills, Tampa, for over thirty years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Rose Marie Longo Giglio. He is also survived by his three wonderful and caring daughters, Lori Lynn Gibson (James Joseph) and their four daughters (Samantha, Alexa, Giovanna and Isabella); Lydia Michelle Sierra and her two children (Olivia and Kevin); Leslie Marie Betts (Marc Alan) and their three daughters (Francesca, Rosalia and Lucia). He will be deeply missed by his brother Peter Giglio (Elizabeth) and brother-in-law Leonard Longo (Jean Carol), his cousins: Susan Talavera, Debbie Jameson, David Hughey and James and Sam Leone. Lawrence had an infectious personality that filled a room with laughter. He loved travel both domestic and foreign with his wife, daughters and grandchildren, especially to Italy and Spain. Lawrence enjoyed reading and working on crossword puzzles. He was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer supporter, but the one thing he loved the most was spending time with his wife and family at their beach home, RamSea. There he was the President of the Board for thirty years. He enjoyed being part of the growth and improvements during that time. The family will receive guests at St. Lawrence Catholic Church from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Friday, September 7th. A celebration of his life and mass will be at 11:00 am, with the Rev. Thomas T.
