MARKS, Kevin Cecil, 54, native of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Theresa Marks; parents, Cecil and Norma Marks; sister, Susan and her husband Jim Ulrick, and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends for Visitation, Sunday, August 19, 2018 between 1 and 3 PM at the Blount & Curry at Garden Of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E Lake Avenue, Tampa. Services will begin at 3 PM at the funeral home, with Interment at the convenience of the family.
Kevin graduated from Chamberlin High School in 1982. Kevin was currently working at Walgreens in Venice, Fl. Kevin’s hobbies included being an amateur paleontologist, shark tooth hunting on the beach, photography, and watching movies, especially old monster movies. Kevin liked to go to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. He liked to go to Medieval Fairs and Spooky Empire in Orlando, FL.
Kevin always made people laugh and could quickly make friends. Kevin was also a very kind person. He gave countless hours of time to others, specially his wife and all her causes.
Kevin was proud of his father and his father’s service to this country. Cecil Marks served in the Navy on the USS Sullivans. Kevin and his father would always talk about the ship.
