Kelly was a loving wife, sister, daughter, dog mom, coach, instructor, dedicated employee, and friend to many. She had an incredibly strong relationship with her little brother Troy, who she lovingly referred to as Johnie. After growing up in a small town in Wisconsin, Kelly moved to Green Bay where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. Her career took her to Washington DC for a few years before following her dream and love of the beach to Tampa, Florida where she resided for over the last decade.
After rescuing Buford (pug), Kelly had everything but her perfect "human" to match her joyful personality. That was until Adrian came along. Adrian was the ying to Kelly’s yang, the happiness they shared together was electric and apparent to anyone that saw them together. Kelly and Adrian tied the knot on the beach in Jamaica with close family and friends in 2018. As a couple, they rescued Gertrude (another pug) which completed their family of four.
Kelly had a passion for gymnastics, writing, teaching pound, spending time with her fur babies, rap music, playing Wii, planning her and Adrian's next adventure to a Sandals resort, and cheering on her Green Bay Packers. Kelly loved life and lived it to its fullest.
While her passing was sudden, the impact she had on those she met during her 44 years will last forever.
Kelly leaves behind her beloved husband, Adrian; their two quirky dogs (Buford and Gertrude); little brother, Troy; mother, Rita; father, Dave; and so many family and friends all across the country, and throughout the Caribbean. She will be missed dearly.
A celebration of life will occur on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at The Birchwood, 340 Beach Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 from 1PM to 6PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that a donation be made in Kelly’s name to the Pug Rescue of Florida. https://pugrescueflga.com/
