Katherine LaRocca Macaluso

Macaluso, Katherine LaRocca “Katie”,91, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Born in Tampa, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nana, and Big Nana. Katie was pre-deceased by her husband Frank (Johnny) Macaluso, and her parents Katie and Angelo LaRocca.

She leaves behind a large and loving family. Katie was most proud of her sons Michael (Jeanette) and John

(Dolly) Macaluso. She was Nana to Stephanie Loebel (Hans), Michael John Macaluso (Danielle),

Nicholas Macaluso (Laura) and Megan Macaluso. She was Big Nana to Michaela and Christian

Loebel, Peyton and Colt Macaluso and Maddie, Jackson and Henry Macaluso.

Too numerous to name, Katie also cherished her many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family

would like to thank all of those who cared for Katie during her time at Colonnade

of Carrollwood.

Graveside services will be held at L’Unione Italiana Cemetery,

2520 E. 24th St., Tampa, 33605 on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org), or Gaither High School Baseball (Attn: Coach North) 16200 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa 33618.

Pallbearers are: Michael John Macaluso, Nicholas Macaluso, Hans Loebel, Angel Baltar Sr., Anthony Lou Perrone, Anthony Sam Perrone and Gaspar Sam Monte.
