Karen Lynn HUDSON, age 70, of Temple Terrace, Florida passed away on March 11, 2022 from breast cancer. Karen was born April 7, 1951 in Garden City, MI; her parents moved to Florida in 1956 from Wayne, MI. She was a loving servant of the Lord and a member of the Temple Terrace Church of Christ. Karen was a teacher at Florida College Academy, Tomlin Middle School and Plant City High School. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry B. Hudson, Jr and Jean(Cathey)Hudson; she is survived by brothers, Barry Hudson and Bruce Hudson; sisters, Gail Story and Rhonda Sobr. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home @ Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Karen Hudson Memorial Adopt Education Fund at Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL.
