VAZQUEZ, Jorge Eugenio, passed away September 24, 2014. Jorge was born March 22, 1950 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Jorge and Ilia Mojica Vazquez. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jorge was an American Airlines employee for 24 years and a crew chief for 10 of those 24 years. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the National Guard Reserve. Jorge was also a teacher at Cupeyville Private School. He enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach and he was a great handyman. Survivors include his wife Vickie; daughters Damari, Angelique, Mariangie and Melissa; granddaughters Madisen and Morgan; brother Gilberto; sister Sandra; nieces Iliamari, Sandra and Iliadys; special relatives Edna, Zayda, Gilberto, Regine, Lourdes, Walter, Joe, Jeff, Steve, Bill, Kevin and Zahmari. A visitation will take place on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Funeral service will then take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 11 am at the funeral home with interment to follow at 1:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery.
