Jon Keebler Logan passed away on March 7, 2022. He was born in Tampa, Florida on January 5, 1962 to Harlan Richards Logan and Lucille Lowry Logan. He was the youngest of three children and adored by his much older siblings, Harlan and Leslie, who both enjoyed having a new baby in the family. Later, when he became an uncle, Jon enjoyed spending time with his niece, Katherine, and nephew, Stuart. More recently, he became a proud great-uncle and was endlessly collecting photos of his great-niece Caroline.
Jon spent the majority of his career with the United States Postal Service. In 1993, he moved to Sarasota, Florida where he took a position at the Manasota Processing & Distribution Center as a FSM Clerk. Throughout the years, he worked in multiple Clerk positions, including Administrative Detail Assignments for the Suncoast District. His last assignment was Executive Administrative Assistant at the Manasota P&DC where he earned the title and respect of “Mr. Manasota.”
Jon not only loved his career but he also loved his co-workers, many of whom became life-long, loyal friends. A special thanks from the Logan family to Kim1, Kim2 and Barb. He had a wry sense of humor and loved spending time with his friends and rooting on his favorite Florida sports teams. His sense of humor also made for fun family get-togethers, and the Logan clan was always happy to see him.
In addition to his friends and family, Jon also leaves behind his beloved feline “Gabriel” who was his wingman, giving him much companionship, and also occasional annoyance as he recovered from breaking his ankle twice.
A private family service will be held in Tampa, Florida.
