Travis, James B. (90) of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Travis; children, Patricia Sanz, James B. Travis, Jr. (Leslie) and Sherri Travis; grandchildren, Christopher Sanz (Donna), Ashley Ohmart, Michael Travis (Kylie), Derek Sanz (Amanda), Danielle Travis (Jeremy) and Sydney Travis (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Christopher Sanz, Ryan El Hafili, Alexa Ohmart, Annistyn Travis, Katherine Goethe, Liam Mitchell, Liliana Mitchell and Anthony Sanz; his sisters, Margaret Innocenti, Eileen Tosolt (Joseph), and Mary Lou Liston (Brendan); brother, Robert Travis (Marilee) and numerous nieces and nephews. James was predeceased in death by his parents, John and Florence Travis, and brother, John Travis (Sylvia).
James was a Korean War Veteran and a proud member and past commander of The American Legion Gunn Highway Memorial Post 147. James loved spending time with his family and looked forward to seeing his great-grandchildren as often as possible.
Graveside services will be held on Friday January 28th at 1pm at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. A celebration of life will be announced to friends and family.
