James Edward Linder

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, September 22nd at St. Clement’s, 706 W. 113th Ave, Tampa, FL 33612 with Fr. Andrew Heyes officiating followed by a reception at the home of June Linder-Speener. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park FL on Monday September 25th at noon.

James was born in Highland Park, Michigan to Frederick and Lille Mae Linder on June 15, 1927. He married Agnes Linder on August 9th, 1948, in Paulding, Ohio. He worked as a Manager for The City of Sanford Fleet Maintenance Division. He was a World War 2 Veteran, as a Technical Seargent and was assigned to the 114th Infantry Division Army Ground Forces Band in Bamberg, Germany. He was the Band Leader and played trumpet for the United States Army Dance Band until his Honorable Discharge in 1947.

James is preceded in death by his sister Grace Hall and Brothers Charles and Raymond.

James is survived by His daughters June Linder-Speener and Cindy Tice and his Sons Frederik, James and Robert Linder. His Grandchildren Renee Clark, Erik Tice, John Tice, Kenneth Linder, and Lillie Linder and nine great grandchildren.
