Albert James Browning, 87 of Tampa was called home by the Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2018 with his daughter and son-in-law at his side. Born in Georgia, Albert moved to Florida in 1938. He married Dorothy “Dot” Browning (Holt) on March 22, 1952; they remained dedicated to each other throughout their lives. Albert was a skilled welder, loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, gardening, and was a faithful servant of the Lord. He was a true Southern Gentleman with an illuminating smile that was loved by all that knew him. He leaves his memories to be cherished by his devoted Daughter, Sandy Adams (Butch); his son, James A. Browning Jr.; Grandchildren, Jeremy Browning (Lisa), Daniel Browning, Jennifer Browning, Thomas “Butchie” Adams Jr. (Brandy), Bryan Adams Sr. (Candice); Great-Grandchildren, Jordan, Jason, Justin, Lauren, Bryan Jr. “Scooter Bug”, and Savannah Grace; Sister, Mable Bolling (Carl); Half-Sisters, Marie Coble, and Ruth Benefield; Half-Brother, Wendell Browning; along with extended family and friends. His family finds comfort in knowing that he was welcomed into heaven by all those in which he was predeceased; including his Wife, Siblings, Great-Grandchildren, and Parents. “Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy” – JOHN 16:22 Visitation will take place on Sunday, Decemeber 16, from 4pm-6pm.
