Irma LaVelle McClellan, 83, of Thonotosassa, FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015. Born on October 19th 1931 in Tampa, FL. She was predeceased by her late husband, Milton McClellan, one son, Mac McClellan, and Earl M. Lovelace Jr. She is survived by one son, Dale (Mary) McClellan of Thonotosassa; and two daughters: LaCreasha (Greg) Weglarz, Ft. Myers; and Darlene (Steve) Tibbitts of Tampa; as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She retired from the Hillsborough County Clerk of Courts Office after 20 years of service. Her great joys in life were her children, family and friends. She found her second family within her church and close knit neighborhood. She has been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since November 28th 1950, and affiliated with the Temple Terrace Chapter No. 277 since 1999. Her favorite hobby was tending to her lawn and flower garden. Services performed by Blount & Curry: Visitation from 2:00-4:00 on Sunday, July 26, 2015 ; Funeral Services on Monday, July 27, 2015 11:00; Graveside service to follow at 1:30PM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church, 13515 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa.
