CABRERA, Irene, went to live with our Lord Jesus on October 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julio Cabrera, and her sons, William Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez, and Luis A. Alvarez. Irene was born on March 5, 1913. She is survived by her daughters, Modesta Alvarez (Fernando Calderon), Isabel Pagan (Luis Pagan), and Nilda Cortes (Jose Cortes); sons Pablo Rodriguez (Karen Rodriguez) and Julio Cabrera Jr; 24 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 3 to 9PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. A funeral service will then take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
