Helen Jean Stone

Helen Jean Stone, 84, of Tampa, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 13, 2023. Jean was born February 19,1939 in Red Oak, North Carolina to JJ and Ada Glover. Jean dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her past times were gardening, cooking, and attending her local church.

She was survived by her children Ernest (Kristi) Liggins, and Deborah (Duane) Mitchell; brother Vernon Glover; 8 grandchildren - Roxanne Liggins, EJ. (Stephanie) Liggins, Stephen(Cat) Mitchell, Alan (Darcy) Liggins, Carri Ann (Kirk) Juni, Carol Mitchell, Rachel (Zachary) Sopak, and Sarah (Ben-avir) Espinal, and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children Terry Liggins and Sandra Liggins; parents JJ and Ada Glover; siblings Willis Glover, Herald Glover, Billy Ray Glover, Clinton Glover, Bobby Glover, Jimmy Glover, J.B. Glover, Shirley Skinner, and Nellie Hollaway. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00pm at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 pm at the funeral home at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories.
