Harold Walter Goss

Harold was born 14 May 1929, in Jesup, Georgia to Herbert and Verdie Moody Goss. He was a member of the Church of God, a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Tampa Tank Inc., of Tampa, Fl.

Harold was predeceased in death by his parents Herbert and Verdie Goss, his wife Dorothy MacKenzie Goss of Tampa, FL, a sister Dolores Goss of Jesup Georgia, a brother Juan Carroll Goss of Guyton Georgia , two sons Larry and Herbie Goss, two stepsons Donnie and Robbie MacKenzie.

Harold is survived by three sisters Shirley ( Joe )Tillman of Marietta,Georgia, June Masters of Jesup Georgia, Iris Ortega of Las Vegas, New Mexico, one son Barry Jo (Elaine) Goss, one step son John ( Linda )MacKenzie, stepdaughter Carol (Kent Parsons) Mackenzie, grandson Justin Barker as well as other grandchildren and great great children.

Harold enjoyed his grandchildren very much! He was a cut up and enjoyed life. He love music and had well over 4000 record albums. He enjoyed going to his army reunions and meeting up with Marge and Don Hjerpe with Dorothy for many trips to Gulf shores for holidays. He was a very kind man.

Harold was living at Erika's House LLC and had loving care from Nieves Medina ( the owner) and Sharlene. Thank you!

Pallbearers will include Justin Barker, Kent Parsons, James Devault, Joe Jr. (Rocky) Tillman, and John (Stoney) Tillman

Chaplain Steve Kesler from Canines for Christ will officiate the service.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 12 to 1PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1PM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL. Arrangements under the direction of Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa, FL.
