It was just this weekend I learned of Jerry's untimely passing.  My heart is broken.  Jerry and I shared many laughs, cries and everything in between.  Always his date, we danced our feet off at hospital events, cruises and parties.  His carefree and caring spirit was contagious!  Since moving away from Tampa, we kept in touch with cards at birthdays and holidays.  He expressed his pride in his daughter on a regular basis and mention of his grandchildren would make his eyes sparkle more, if that was possible! I volunteer in the gift shoppe at Mease Dunedin and always looked forward to Jerry dropping in saying "hello" and we chated about life,grandchildren,and "how were sales going" in the shoppe. Once I convinced him to make a purchase..an identify theft-proof credit card holder...in green for St Patrick's Day. Sometimes I wouldn't have my volunteer's blue jacket on....and I would say " You caught me out of uniform...guess you're going to fire me now!" He responded " If I fire you we will have to close down the gift shoppe!" He made me feel very special and saw the merit and good in people. I will really miss him....he was a very important person to me.

My brother was about to start a new chapter of his life. But for some reason he skipped that on and followed another path of life. I lost my brother, my best friend, but he is not gone, for some day I to will find that chapter and follow the same path to meet you again. Jerry I love you with all my heart and I will miss you but we will never be apart.

Alice and I have known Jerry 38 years.  He was a very close personal frient of ours.  We are sadded by his death and will miss him dearly.  He still owes me my birthday dinner.  We laughed, cried, and shared many secrets together.  He is such a kind man and loving soul.  He loved will all his heart and is at peace in heaven.  Condolences to John and Marjorie and his other siblings, his daughter Kelly and his grandchildren, who made him smile and content.  God Bless you, Jerry.  Say hi to Bill.  We will love and miss you forever.

Jerry has been part of our family, our cousin, for more than 40 years. It was always enjoyable being with him. I know I speak for Josephine and Bill's relatives in saying we loved him and will miss him.

Jerry was a sweet, kind man and we wish we had spent more time getting to know him even better. Jerry was the brother of my sister-in-law Darlene Walroth, who loved Jerry very much and is devastated by his passing. RIP, Jerry, and I know that Bill and Lucy were there to greet you.

Jerry was my introduction to Morton Plant. He was meeting people with a smile that would not end stating we will get through this together. Fifteen years later that smile was on his face every time we meet. He will be missed by many leaving a void that will be hard to fill. I am sure he will be smiling as he is greeted on the 'other side". My prayers are with his family as the grieve the loss of this great man. Rest in peace Jerry.

Just so everyone knows, Jerry did not become the nicest guy.. he was my boss in the Lab at Good Samaritan Hospital in Tampa about 30 years ago.  He was the nicest guy then too.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry in a business opportunity and found we had ties in 1000 islands new York, It was such a pleasure to have met him as he was very kind and joyful, in fact my 20 minute meet turned into 90. We lost a great man this week! As my thoughts go down memory lane, the first thing I think of is how there wasn't a nicer, genuine man out there. Many memories over the past 20+ years and so many very heavy hearts by all who knew Jerry.  To have known and shared life with him was a wonderful journey.  I will remember him always and I know that he knows he will always have a special place in our hearts.

Mease Dunedin won't be the same without Jerry. He would drop by to check in on the team with a smile on his face, & a bright and cheerful "hello, how are you today." He was always a comforting presence that everyone appreciated. Jerry made everyone feel that they were important, he listened and he cared. I will miss Jerry. I will always remember what a wonderful person he was and how privileged I am to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear we have lost Jerry. He was a great guy to work with and be around. He always had a smile and a positive attitude. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Jerry.

I met Jerry in November 1998 when he was part of the panel interviewing me for North Bay Hospital. Jerry made me feel at ease and welcome from the very start. Little did I know,at that time, how instrumental he would be in my success during my time spent in the cath lab. We had an awesome team at North Bay! Thank you Jerry for being such a positive, uplifting influence. Heaven has gained a most special angel. God speed, my friend! You will greatly missed!

Jerry always greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile--ever since the first day I started at Morton Plant Mease.  He was quick to throw a compliment your way-always saying "you look great".  What a wonderful man and a great loss to Morton Plant Mease.
