I first met Fred and Ginger in 1978 when I came to Florida from Australia to study at the UF, I was in St Joseph's Hospital for 7 weeks after car accident and met Ginger at the hospital. After that we became very close friends, Fred and Ginger treated me like one of the family and invited me to their home in Tampa many times and Fred took me to Big Bend as well. I am proud to have known Fred and Ginger, truly fine people and made my time in the US so much more rewarding and memorable experience.

Fred was so special to me and my entire family. Fred and Ginger started out as friends of my parents but became so much more. I used to call them my second Mom and Dad. 

Not only did we go to the same church but we’d see them at each other’s houses, at picnics and other places. My husband, Steve, and I rented the house next door to them for almost 2 years so they were our neighbors too. My Mom started having a family Christmas party about a week before Christmas every year starting around 1984 and Fred and Ginger were always there. After Ginger passed away, Fred continued to go. When he no longer drove, someone would pick him up because it wouldn’t be the same fun without him. He always had a smile and a great laugh. Fred was a true gentleman and one of a kind. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all of us.

Fred and Ginger were like family. Close friends for over 50 years. A lot of times when we’re out at different places people thought Fred and I were brothers. We ,my wife Delma  and I  I will dearly miss Fred.  He will always be in our hearts. God took great one home.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Fred's family and friends.   I worked with Fred at Big Bend Station.  He was a fine gentleman with only kind things to say about everyone.  He loved his family dearly and he will be missed.  I feel blessed to have known him and enjoyed working with him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Moore family. We shared many happy times with Fred and Ginger and  with Fred over the past many years. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend.  We will miss him but know he is now once again with Ginger.  The Beggs family.

Fred was family. I have great memories of many get togethers of Fred, Ginger and my parents playing cards and at family gatherings. Being around them as a kid was always a good time and I will always remember them. Prayers to David and Doug. Fred and Ginger are together again and that’s a nice thought. 

Rest in Peace.  Prayers and thoughts go out to all of Mr. Moore’s family.
