Flor de Maria Diaz, 80, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2019. Born November 9, 1938 in Ica, Peru to the late Carlos Alfonso Ley and the Graciela Farfan, Flor moved from Peru to New Jersey before settling in Tampa. Catholic by faith, Flor was a member of Incarnation Church, she was a Eucharistic Minister, and members of several groups including Brotherhood of Senor de los Milagros, Catechrist, Legion of Mary, Emaus and Circulo de Oracion. Flor also enjoyed cooking, gardening and knitting. Flor was preceded in death by her infant daughter Flor De Maria Sanchez and her son Arturo Sanchez. She is survived by her loving children Juan Carlos Sanchez (Margarita), Angelo Cabello, Carlo Diaz (Eva Caro), Mila Elizabeth Sanchez, Graciela Leiva and Argelia Veronica Goodner (Wes); her 11 cherished grandchildren and her 12 great grandchildren who she adored. Flor is also survived by a very large extended family in Peru.
