Ernest E. Moore Jr.

Ernest E. Moore Jr. was born Ocala Florida to Ernest E. Moore Sr. and Ordette Hart on October 29, 1939. He went to school at Palmetto High School. He married Dian H. Moore on July 6, 1962 in Tampa, Florida. He had some College from Oklahoma University Diesel School. He worked as a Mechanic for United State Postal Service for over 30 years. He was a veteran and served in the Navy. He was involved in Mosanic Lodge and Sons of the Confederacy.

Ernest E. Moore Jr. is preceded in death by Father Ernest E. Moore Sr, Mother Ordette Hart, Father and Mother in law James and Lucille Hunter, Sisters Betty Paulson, Evelyn Jones, Brother Sam Holland.

Ernest E. Moore Jr. is survived by Spouse Dian H. Moore, Children Daughter Terri Rhoades (Chad) Son James E. Moore; Sister Delores Lowe (Doug) and brother Jack Holland (Margaret); Grandchildren Thomas “Skyler” Bishop, Brittany Moore, Sydney Bishop, Kaylee Moore, Samara Shumake and James Moore, Jr. He has 2 great-Grandchildren Jayden Manso and Elwood Walko

Pallbearers will be Thomas “Skyler” Bishop, Pete Buchannan, Chad Rhoades, Cameron Tally, David Tinnel

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday 31st of January at Blount and Curry Funeral Home with the Dr. Wayne Phillips of Corinth Baptist Church of Athens Georgia, officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Blount and Curry Funeral Home.
