Dorothy Robbins Fisher, 96, formerly of Tampa, died July 17, 2015 in Melbourne, FL. A native of Massachusetts, she had lived in Tampa form 1926 to 2010, when she moved to Melbourne. She was a retired elementary school teacher for the Hillsborough County School System and a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. A graduate of the University of Tampa, she was also a member of Desoto Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Alpha lota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Tampa Branch of American Association of University Women, Hillsborough High School Alumni Association, and Hillsborough County Florida Retired Teachers, West. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Herbert Fisher, her parents Carroll G. Robbins, Sr. and Hazel Saunders Robbins; two brothers William B. Robbins and Donald F. Robbins; and a sister, Margaret E. Robbins. She is survived by her son, James L. Fisher (Charlene) of Rockledge; grandchildren Michael L. Fisher (Laurie) of Tampa and Karen E. Fisher of Gainesville; five great-grandchildren; a twin sister, Phyllis R. Bearss of Tampa, a brother, Carroll G Robbins, Jr. of Tampa. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Wed. July 22 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, Tampa
